Welcome to Town and Country!

Welcome to TCBC it is a joy to have folks look us up on the web to see what we are about. We are a independant baptist church in the country on the outskirt of town. Pekin Illinois is were we are located and our church is a landmark in the community. Many folks have visited this old building over its long historic existance. Formerly the Bethel Mennonite Church which was in existance for 99 years thanks to the giants of the faith. As founding pastor of TCBC in my visits with the dear people of Bethel Mennonite. My heart was touched by those I visited with who wished they could have reached the 100 year anniversary. I qiuckly informed TCBC memebers the we needed to show our gratefulness to these precious people by giving them a 100 year anniversary celebration. And we did so by celebrating there 100th and our 1st anniversary in the old church biulding along the side of Illinois route 9 between Pekin and Tremont. This same loving atmosphere that brought two congregation together is the same loving spirit that thrives still today. At TCBC we stress that "you have a audience of one" and pleasing God in your service to Jesus is the only thing that matters.
